The Smeal R2 is the service rig designed with economy in mind. The R2 is lightweight (less than 1200 lbs.) and is designed to mount on the pickups thereby offering low initial cost and good fuel economy. Totally enclosed oil bath gears and all hydraulic drawworks give this rig a long lift with low maintenance cost. This is the ideal rig for submersibles and the small pump service.

Controls are conveniently located to be easily accessible to the operator and the well head. Simple yet effective scoping clutch assembly allows hook to remain stationary as boom is scoped up and down. Positive lock worm gear reduction provides a positive hold on the hook. Large portion of truck bed space remains available for storage or hauling purposes.

R2 STANDARD EQUIPMENT

• PTO applications are preferred. However, belt driven clutch pumps are acceptable.

• Totally enclosed worm gear drive

• Independently controlled hydraulic outriggers

• 30 ft. power scoped mast

• 1000 lb. single line capacity at 75 FPM

• 2000 lb. mast capacity with 2 part line
