The 6T derrick is designed to the same high quality in engineering and durability as the Smeal 5T which made the 5T the largest selling pump hoist in the world. The 6T features the latest technology in its high efficient hydraulic system, plus its rugged construction will set the 6T in a class right alongside the famous Smeal 5T.
The mainline winch has a 6000 lb. single line pull at a maximum rated speed of 130 ft. per minute. The 10 ¾" diameter drum exceeds OSHA requirements plus accomplishes 12,000 lb. capacity on two lines and is reeved on a bare drum. |

HYDRAULIC SYSTEM FEATURES The
load-sensing hydraulic system features a variable axial
piston pump which provides pressure and flow regulations.
The pump delivers the amount of flow and pressure
required for each function serviced by the metering
spools on the closed centered main control valve. The
operator will experience infinite control on the load
being lifted at high or low RPM. If no function is
required, the pump de-strokes, which eliminates power
usage and overheating of the hydraulic oil.High efficient
hydraulic motors direct coupled to the 5.66 to 1 ratio
heavy duty gears and sandreel provides maximum torque for
peak performance. The sandreel has a 2300 lb. bare spool
lifting capacity with a maximum 375 ft. per minute line
speed. Spooling capacity on the 6T sandreel is 850 ft. of
3/8" cable, 1200 ft. of 5/16" cable, or 600 ft.
of 7/16" cable. 
The
revised Smeal automatic fail safe brakes are mounted
opposite the drive section for easy accessibility.
