Derrick
The 12T basic rig consists of a 36 ft. telescoping mast with 11' maximum layback, 33,000 lbs. capacity with a 3 part line, 150' of 5/8 cable, open spelter socket with 7 ton safety hook, two blocks, and a 15 ton safety hook for a three part line, dual rear independently controlled hydraulic outriggers and tailout winch. The Smeal R12 hydraulic derrick is another of the long line of well service equipment supplied by Smeal Manufacturing Company. The Smeal name is synonymous in quality and durability. The R12 pictured is equipped with the following optional equipment: sandreel, breakout wrench, cathead, oil cooler, power to rear, and layback attachment. Mainline hook is not included in base price. Smeal's unique rigging on the mainline allows changing from a 2 part-line to a 4 part-line with minimum time and effort. Eight foot wide rear outrigger assembly allows for maximum stability on large pumps.
The R12 optional layback attachment allows for a maximum 20 ft. layback without the requirement of a jib on large pump house applications.
All controls are located at the left rear corner of the rig and accessible from the ground level. The Smeal R12 is available with all the optional equipment as on our other rigs. |
